Owner of Fine Lawns and Gardens, Frank Acuna, is
holding a perennial Geranium
Frank takes the time to go to the nursery personally and
pick up the plants for each and every job. This ensures
that only top quality plants in good condition will end up
on your project.
New cultivar of PJM Rhododendron
When Frank goes to the nursery, he is able to make
substitutions, like this beautiful new PJM cultivar with
purple flowers, instead of the usual magenta. He
knew this customer had a preference for purple and
would be happy with the substituted cultivar.

emerge bright pink
and then darken as
summer arrives.
Other cultivars of
bi-color beech trees
have foliage that
emerges pink with
white margins. They
are truly a stunning
sight in the spring
and early summer.
Pictures of this Bi-Color Beech tree were taken on 6-6-07.
Catmint - Nepeta species >>>
This perennial makes a spectacular
display of blue flowers in late May. As
the name suggests, Catmint tends to be
very attractive to cats.
Spiraea
Spiraea are a family of deciduous shrubs with attractive floral
displays. In the 1950's Bridalwreath Spiraea (right) was a
popular shrub. Today people want shrubs with tighter forms that
require less maintenance. The popular 'Little Princess', 'Anthony
Waterer' and 'Goldmound' spiraea are perfect for low
maintenance landscaping. Little Princess has light pink flowers
and a more compact growth habit; Anthony Waterer is larger with
a deep pink flowers; and the Goldmound is grown primarily for its
yellowish foliage but also offers pink flowers.
